1. Who we are
Booker is a rental operations platform provided by busistree. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to busistree; "you" refers to the rental business using Booker and the individuals who access it. Contact: hello@busistree.com.
2. What we collect
To provide and improve the Service we collect:
- Account data — name, email, phone, business name, role.
- Workspace data you enter — inventory, categories, prices, bookings, invoices, payments, damage notes.
- Customer data your business adds — names, phone numbers, CNIC, rental history, blacklist notes. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect this from your customers.
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser, actions taken in the app — used to keep Booker secure and reliable.
3. How we use it
- Operate the Service, sync your workspace, and support your team.
- Send transactional messages (onboarding, invoices, security notices).
- Investigate issues, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and features.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We do not use it to train third-party AI models.
4. Sharing & subprocessors
We share data only with the service providers required to run Booker — hosting, database, transactional email/WhatsApp delivery, and payment processing. Each subprocessor is contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us. A current list is available on request.
5. Security
We use industry-standard controls — encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access, per-tenant isolation, and audit logging on sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure; you play a critical role by keeping credentials safe and granting staff only the roles they need.
6. Retention
We keep your workspace data for as long as your Booker account is active. On written request we will export or delete your workspace. Backups may retain copies for a limited period after deletion for disaster-recovery purposes, after which they are overwritten.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights email hello@busistree.com. For end-customers of your rental business, please contact the business directly — they are the controller of that data.
8. Cookies
Booker uses only the cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (theme, language). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. Children
Booker is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
